Time for another meal plan! I am still working on getting the hang of planning and shopping for 2 weeks at a time. Last week we ran out of butter and cheese- two staples in our home so I had to make a trip to the store to pick some up. I will get better at judging how much we need of each item as time goes on. I am definitely saving time by shopping biweekly though!
Instead of having fried rice and spring rolls for dinner last night we ended up eating out as we were out for the day and still dealing with some sickness. This pushed us over budget for the month but it is such a rare occurrence we were ok with it. I also picked up some last minute deals today that will carry us through the next few weeks.
Over the next 2 weeks we will be eating some family favourites as well as trying out some new recipes. I had planned to do some fun April Fools food jokes for my kids but alas time ran out before I could prepare for them. Maybe next year. Are you planning any special meals for Saturday?
