It is the end of the month which means we are at the tail end of our grocery budget. The overall price of produce continues to increase here which makes feeding our family of 7 increasingly difficult. We continue to use the tips and principals which I shared in my 12 month long How To Reduce Your Grocery Bill Series. In fact, I redeemed $60 worth of free groceries yesterday at the store and will be doing a $100 redemption at Shoppers today. We will also be receiving our good food box next week.
The meals listed below are simpler and cheaper than in other weeks with a few more interesting ones thrown into the mix. I can’t wait for our growing season to come so that we can plant our garden and enjoy some fresh produce from our yard! We based our meals for these weeks on what we had on hand in our pantry, fridge, and freezer as well as what was on sale and in season right now.
