Kaitlyn is now almost 8 months old and recently outgrew her small diaper covers. She has now started wearing this multi-sized Wonder Wrap cover. It has 3 rows of snaps to adjust the rise as well as an aplix closure on it. At 16 pounds Kaitlyn wears the cover on the middle rise setting. On this cover I like how thick the material is and how wide the aplix is. There is very good stretch on the elastic and it seems to be longer in the back than some covers. It also has a super cute print on it.
Because of the way the cover is designed the elastic at the back is lower than at the top edge. This means that there is not an indent left on the skin but also that it is not as tight which leaves the potential for blowouts. The leg openings are also not as tight as some other covers. It doesn’t seem that these covers are made anymore however, there are still some on second-hand sites as well as ebay.
The other cover that Kaitlyn is wearing right now is a Thirsties Duo Wrap size 2. It too has 3 sets of snaps for the rise and Kaitlyn wears it on the smallest setting. It has a nice wide aplix on this cover as well as the gussets in the legs which Thirsties are known for. I have found that blow outs and leaks are extremely rare with Thirsties covers.
This diaper has a cute pattern on it too and seems very well made.
As Kaitlyn outgrows our cloth diapers we are selling and passing them along. It’s sad to think that our cloth diaper days are limited however, we have learnt so much!
