Another week, another meal plan! I had a rough day last Tuesday and ended up ordering pizza for dinner so we rearranged our meals a bit and pushed the Jamaican patties and fried rice back until Tuesday this week. I had also forgot that we had a Christmas party to attend tonight so I have moved the BLT’s we had planned for tonight to next Friday.
If you saw the Shoppers Drugmart points redemption that I did a few weeks ago you would know that I was able to pick up a number of food items for free (yay!). Our meals this are based off of what I was able to get that day as well as what we have in our fridge, freezer and pantry. I am also using up the last freezer meal that I had made prior to Jacob’s birth. The few items that I do need to pick up are just some fresh produce and some sale items.
Here is our meal plan for the week:
Dahl, chutney, cabbage & rice
Baked potato, baked beans & salad
Roast beef sandwiches (crock pot) with vegetables
Jamaican patties & fried rice
Spaghetti with meat sauce & garlic bread
Tuna noodle casserole (freezer)
BLT’s and oven fries
