This month I am adding 5 items to my ongoing wish list. Christmas is only 2 months away!!
Teaching from Rest: A Homeschooler’s Guide to Unshakable Peace by Sarah Mackenzie- Oh man homeschooling is tough! I know that it is the right decision for our family right now, however, the time commitment for 3 different grades is huge and honestly, it’s only going to get worse as the two younger children join the school ranks. Adding the educational responsibilities and time commitment on top of everything else is rough. My house is messier than ever, meals are not as healthy or made from scratch as normal. I’ve had a few people recommend this book as one to find some encouragement and inspiration in. Our local library does not have this book so I am adding it to my wish list.
Magic Bullet– I love the Magic bullet and we are currently on our second one. However, it is barely holding on and we need to replace it soon. I especially love to use them for making baby food since the blender is often too large for just a bit of baby food so hopefully we can replace our current one before Jacob starts eating solids.
Large Casserole Dish– My last casserole dish cracked about a month ago and I was so sad. Since then I have been making all of our casserole type foods in two smaller dishes which isn’t really ideal. I would really love a new one to make life simpler and cut down on dishes to wash 🙂
New Umbrella- I’m not sure where exactly my umbrella disappeared to…. I used to store it in my car but it has since gone walking. Honestly, it doesn’t rain that often here but when it does it would be very nice to have a large umbrella to protect myself from the elements. I recently saw a clear umbrella at the store that caught my eye. I thought was fun and could double as a cute photography prop in the future.
MP3 Player- Our family had an MP3 player given to us many years ago that we have really enjoyed having. Unfortunately, it died last month and can not seem to be revived. I would love to have a new one so that we can start listening to our favourite music throughout the house and when out again. Does anyone have a brand they would love and recommend?
